Mountaineering

January 31, 2011

Indoor mountaineering has become a favourite passtime.

Taking the alternate (and somewhat more challenging) route to Mt Coffee Table over Couches Pass

Introduction to the secrets of the cafe culture

January 30, 2011

To celebrate my 13th month birthday Mum, Papi and I went to a cafe in town.  We ordered an espresso, a long black and a babycino.  I think I could get used to this.

Absolutely de-li-cous!

Mum and Papi were in stiches about something... but I wasn't in on the joke.

Hugs for Papi

My favourite day of the week is always the one when Papi comes home from his trips.

Mouthfuls

January 27, 2011

Mum thinks that I’m yet to master feeding myself with a spoon.  What she doesn’t know though, is that I’m perfectly capable of it, it’s just that I don’t understand why I should use this tiny little spoon to eat when the mouthfuls are much more satisfactory delivered with my hands.

Happy Australia Day

January 26, 2011

Mum and I enjoyed celebrating Australia Day outside in the sunshine.  Mum wore her Australian flag T-shirt and I dressed up as the Commonwealth star.  I kept taking my sunhat off because I didn’t think the Commonwealth star would wear one but Mum insisted that ALL big stars need sun protection.

A long day in a big meeting

January 25, 2011

I’m exhausted after a long day in a big meeting with Mum.

Mum brought lots of my toys, food and milk with us

But I was more interested in crawling around under the tables

And making my own notes

Of course there was a bit of time for socialising

Something for Papi and a winner

January 24, 2011

Today’s photo is chosen especially for Papi (who is away on business at the moment) because he told me that when he’s travelling he likes to log into my blog every moment he gets.  This photo of us together will be a nice surprise for sure.

He will extra happy today that Mum is reluctantly admitting defeat on the name of my lion too.  Although she does want to point out she thinks it was hardly a fair poll with all the canvasing Papi did on facebook for ‘Roberto’ votes.

Please help me settle this domestic dispute!

January 23, 2011

Does he look like an Aslan or a Roberto to you?

There’s a big, friendly lion who lives in my room, we all love him, but he turned up to our place name-less and my parents cannot agree on a name.  One calls him “Aslan” and the other, “Roberto”.  I like both names!  Please help me settle this dispute.
