Mum was so proud of herself last night – BOTH Rafa and I were fast asleep by 6:45pm. (A long session at Munchkin Playland might have had something to do with that).
At 5am Lucy and I were on top of Mum, trying to convince her it was time for breakfast. She did her best to ignore us.
But once Rafa was up at 6am, ignoring all of us became impossible.

Ana, Rafa and Lucy – there is a significant reward in leaving Mum to sleep – there’s nothing quite as cheerful and playful as a well-rested Mum.

Play it forward, I reckon, Ana. When you and Rafa are teenagers you’ll want to sleep in until lunchtime. You need ammunition at that stage – being able to tell Mum how kind you were to her when you let her do the sleeping in.
