I know it is wet and the sun is not sunny, but we can have lots of good fun that is funny!

Cat in the hat

Look at me!  Look at me!  Look at me NOW!  It’s fun to have fun but you have to know how.

Today we are celebrating Dr Seuss’ birthday at the office.  As part of Dr Seuss day Mum choose these Dr Seuss quotes especially for Rafa and I:

“Today you are you, that is truer than true.  There is no one alive who is more youer than you.”

“Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.”

“So be sure when you step, Step with care and great tact. And remember that life’s A Great Balancing Act. And will you succeed? Yes! You will, indeed! (98 and ¾ percent guaranteed) Kid, you’ll move mountains.”

“You have brains in your head.  You have feet in your shoes.  You can steer yourself any direction you choose.”

“Out there things can happen, and frequently do, To people as brainy and footsy as you. And when things start to happen, don’t worry, don’t stew. Just go right along, you’ll start happening too!”

“Today is gone. Today was fun. Tomorrow is another one. Every day, from here to there, funny things are everywhere.”

“The more that you read, the more things that you’ll know. The more you learn, the more places you’ll go!”

That Dr Seuss is sure one clever philosopher. Here’s another one of his that I like: “Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.” ~ Dr Seuss

    What lovely sayings, Ana.

I can recall only Enid Blyton and the Famous Five. She didn’t write like that. Dr Seuss says some really truer than true things. He is cool.
