The last day of summer

February 28, 2011

It is the last day of summer today and I wanted to get out of the house and make the most of the last of the summer sunshine.  I know I need my sunnies and hat on in the sun so I was trying to put them on but Mum makes it look a lot easier than it is!  At least I’ll have a second summer this year to get it right.

The after bath game for sweet dreams

February 27, 2011

Whenever Papi can he gives me my night time bath, then wraps me up tightly in a towel and takes me to Mum saying: “Look what I’ve found.  It’s a little baby!”  Then Mum exclaims “What a beautiful baby!” and gives me a big kiss.  It’s a game I never get sick of!

Being little Humpty Dumpties on the wall

Climbing on the mat was a bit harder with a toy in my hand (I think I was meant to give it back, but I liked it!)

Ready to jump off again. I thought this was a swimming class?

American football

February 24, 2011

The Crown Relocations lady came around to plan our move and gave me a book about living in the US and a red football.  After she left Mum and I put the ball to good use and played a few living room based matches with my high chair as one set of goal posts and the clothes rack as the other.

We are looking for a new home for Diva the Captiva.  She is only two weeks older than me and is just as shiny and smiley.

Diva needs a new family.

Kiwis, be strong

February 22, 2011

Mum and I have been watching the horror the Canterbury earthquake today on tv.  We have friends and family there, some of whom we are anxiously waiting to hear if they are ok.  Be strong Kiwis, our prayers are with you all.

A Nike moment

February 20, 2011

I decided to have Nike moment today and “Just Did It”.  All I needed was the swoosh symbol on my dress and a camera crew with steady cam.

Hoping for a hike

February 19, 2011

Mum was being extremely boring this morning sorting through paper work from the filling cabinet.  Yawn.  So I climbed into the hiking back pack (which lives in the same room) hoping that it might prompt a nice bush walk.  She just laughed at me, pulled me out and went back to her papers.  Sigh.
