They say that Portland has more farmers’ markets per head of population than anywhere else in the world. I’m not sure that’s a fact but on Thursday afternoon there is one in the church car park a couple of blocks from here so Mum and I decided to take a look.

This morning before heading off to my office for the day I tried to find the neighbour’s cat. I called “Meow! Meow!” at the top of my voice but he didn’t come to see me. I’m wondering if I got his name wrong, but that’s what he seems to call himself every time I see him.
Papi has gone to Kentucky (for work, apparently, but he said something about fried chicken too) and Mum and I have sore throats and blocked noses so it’s early to bed for us!
Finally, after several rug shop excursions we made a purchase today. It wasn’t in the style we were originally looking for but it’s good enough to boogie on so it’s good enough for me!
No, it wasn’t me graduating. I only just started at my new office this week! But it was so much fun celebrating with the big kids that are leaving us and going to school after the summer.
