No! Not in Houston!

We woke to all of Houston frozen over, 27F (-3C) temperatures and school cancelled for the day.  This isn’t what we expected of Houston!

After having some struggles getting into our iced over car we had to wait 10 minutes for it all to defrost before we could go anywhere.

The rest of the day we were couped upside. We were a huge help to Mum with her transcribing.

What is going on??? Did you bring the cold weather down with you? Can you please tell mum that I made zucchini chips last night and everyone gobbled them up!

  2. Abuela Says:

Houston – we have a problem!

  3. John Faris Says:

Sounds cold for Houston. Ana looks well rugged up and the little transcriber is looking busy at his work. PS -27F is -33C. More likely it was +27F. But still cold.

  4. Jolyon Frampton Says:

Yep, that is colder than Portland… We have gone from foggy days to clear blue skies since you guys left here, seriously… have no idea what has happened here!

I remember one day that I took your Mum, aunt and uncle to the zoo in San Antonio. We were strolling round on a beautiful afternoon and in little over an hour the temperature plummeted. Maybe Houston’s going to be like that, too.

Did I hear that? School cancelled? Great!

    • Ana Says:

Yep. But it was actually a bit boring stuck at home. It will be more fun if school is cancelled when we have all of our toys back and lots of space to run around.
