It rained on our parade!

We got to participate in the community parade today handing out packets of Texas wildflower seeds for the Fulshear Parks Commission.

We were so excited to participate in the community Fourth of July parade today as part of the Fulshear Parks Commission team handing out packets of Texas wildflower seeds.

Our team was led by two horses.

Our team was led by two horses.

And before the parade started we were allowed to sit on them.

And before the parade started we were allowed to have a little ride.

As it was we ended up following lots of horses so we had to watch our step!

It was so much fun walking through the crowds and everyone loved their seeds.

And everyone loved the seeds.

It was so exciting to walk through the crowds and everyone loved the seeds, just as we were near the end the skies got dark and opened up. We made it back to the car just in time!

But just as we were near the end the skies got dark, lightening bolts were flashing and thunder was shaking the ground. We made it back to the car just in time without getting soaked through.  Talk about raining on the parade!
