We started the festivities with a treasure hunt around the kids zoo.

A zoo keeper came in with some baby animals.

A zoo keeper came in with a baby alligator and a hedgehog for us to learn about and pet.

After the party finished the fun didn't stop. We played in the splash pad and got a ride on the carousel before going home.

I hope the alligator wasn’t looking for party food – little children, yum! Little girls with a long, pretty plait – easy to catch and extra yum!

That splash pad looks like such good fun. So did the rest of the party – except for the “something smelly”, maybe!
