Polystyrene picking and pick up

polystyrene 3

We picked a piece of polystyrene apart in the car today. Mum had asked us to refrain from such an activity but it was just too satisfying to stop.

Mum gave us a plastic bag to pick up all the pieces.

So when we got home Mum gave us a plastic bag and ordered us to pick up all the pieces.

"No Rafa! You're just a little boy so you have to pick up all the little pieces. I'll pick up the big pieces."

Nice plan cause Rafa won’t be able to do it and then Mum will have to take over!

I can see where you inherit your creativity from, Ana. Mum worked out a superb way of keeping you occupied for hours when she could easily have handed you the vacuum cleaner. It reminds me of when I was slow on the uptake when I was told about what Air Force husbands did on return from long deployments. They sprinkled hundreds and thousands (I think you’d call them coloured sprinkles in the USA) all over the grass and told the kids to pick up all the green ones.

Just as well it was not the padding from the inside of the car seats – cos that is really bad. I know.
