Christmas Eve

Gifts for my wonderful teachers - our last day of 2014!

The day before Christmas started with gifts for my wonderful teachers.

It's our last day at the office this year. We made reindeer food and watched The Polar Express.

We had a short day in the office (our last day of 2014) but packed in many fun activities such as making reindeer food and watching ‘The Polar Express’.

When we got home we celebrated Christmas with New Zealand family via Skype.

Later, a Christmas lights tour.

Later, a Christmas lights tour of neighbouring streets.

A neighbour bought around Christmas cookies so we dug into those.

And Christmas cookies a neighbour delivered just as we were finishing dinner – what timing!

We left some for Santa and his elves, of course!

And didn't forget the reindeer.

Checked the calendar… ONE MORE SLEEP!

ONE MORE SLEEP! WE’RE READY SAINT NICK!

We saw the jolly, big man talking with kids in a nearby street last evening. He was about to set out with his reindeer, starting with New Zealand and heading round the rest of the world from there. All I can say is that I hope he has not eaten so many treats en route that he has trouble fitting in your chimney. Merry Christmas to you all, and I hope Santa brings you at least some of what you wished for.

It must be close! Wait! Is that Santa’s sleigh that I can hear over your place right now? I think it is!
