The great Sky Race

It was my turn to chose our post-bath, pre-bed activity and I chose to put on my flight suit and break out my Sky Race game (I was Dusty and the Green Hornet, of course)

It was my turn to chose our post-bath, pre-bed activity.  I donned my flight suit and suggested we break out my Sky Race game.

Too late to ask your great-grandfather Bill what a zoot suit was. He would happily have told you – and given you heaps of advice about surviving hostile conditions.

An around the world race! That’s a great idea! Mum should have expected that you would not go straight to bed – pilots often have to take a bit of time to unwind after such an exciting flight. By the way, Race #7 Strega is famous at the Reno Air Races. Strega is a much modified P51D Mustang and is really fast! But, I expect that you already know that.
