To learn a bit more about Lebanese food, music and culture.  (Which we found out that Rafa in particular is very found of.  He wasn't allowed in this picture because he wanted to snack on the display nuts and dried fruit)

The Festival was recommended to us by one of Rafa's friend's family - we found Talal's grandpa all dressed up in traditional dress!

It was a super hot day so we were happy to find the fresh fruit smoothie stand

And find some shade around the back fence to enjoy lunch - this time Rafa did sit still....

Because there were some skateboarders filming each other doing tricks, which he enjoyed as much as the dancers - and led to a special demonstration hybrid of skateboard tricks and traditional Lebanese dance.

After lunch he gave us a special demonstration hybrid of skateboard tricks and traditional Lebanese dance.  We think he might be onto something!
