The July 4 celebrations have begun

There were heaps of kids to play with.

This was my kind of BBQ because there were heaps of kids to play with.

We hung out on the lake lookout. Played tag and soccer.

And we learnt a new game - volley ball.

One of the guys then told us a bit about the history of July 4th and the meaning of Independence Day. Some of the older kids all read a bill from the bill of rights.

Then it was time to say the Pledge of Allegiance and we all said Happy July 4th! Unfortunately we had to leave before the fireworks started, but there was lots of lightening in the sky!!!
