More Texan BBQs, rope cutting and celebrations

This evening after school we went to a family friend's rope cutting ceremony at her new law office.

It was quite the party with a big BBQ

And a pie baking contest where we all got to be judges!

Music and dancing.

After which we need to head over to the chill zone

And visit the Blizzard truck

    I would have loved to have been the pie judge. I am sure I would have needed a second slice of each pie just to be certain. Which one does Lucy recommend?

    Man – they do things big in Texas. In NZ we have ribbon cutting. I feel the need for a change coming on!
