A 5 State Day

Texas through Louisiana through Mississippi through Alabama to….

FLORIDA!

Straight to the pool. Dinner. Then bunked up for the evening (with 10 minutes of TV in our room!). We have a feeling this is going to be a vacation to remember.

Green with envy – what wonderful family holidays you have. Looking forward to the next installment.

Could do with a bit of your Florida weather here! only 12C/54F and odd hail shower. Sure would like some pool weather.

Heavens. Five states in a day. Just been looking at Google Maps and counting the Australian Capital Territory as a state. You can just get from the Queensland-NSW border north of Bourke down the Mitchell Highway to Canberra in the ACT and then through Wagga Wagga (back in NSW) on through Mildura in the very north of Victoria and to the SA border on the Sturt Highway. Google maps reckons this is just under 19 hours travel and nearly 1800km after you left. (Forget the North Territory and Western Australia – both just too far away to be included).

I think your five states were easier than this!! And you both looked very happy on the trip.

Hope you have a great holiday – and sure you will.
