Christmas 2016

December 25, 2016

It’s been a day of food and fun.Origami, reading our new books and playing with our new toys (Star Wars Lego and the science experiment kit were stand out hits). We went out to the park, Skyped family overseas and played many, many rounds of Yokai Monopoly. Who knew Rafa was such a capitalist?!

December 24, 2016

We sprinkled Reindeer food out on the grass, put out snacks for Santa and got to open a Christmas Eve present – an illustrated copy of Harry Potter. We’re ready!!

It’s COLD outside

The start of Christmas Break

December 17, 2016

Tonight we had the coolest Christmas party to welcome in the Christmas break.

We made our own Christmas decorations:

Got pressies from Secret Santa…. once we worked out which one was ours!

And decorated our own cookies for dessert! (actually a more accurate description of dessert was sprinkles and frosting with a bit of cookie hidden in there somewhere.

Christmas break has started on a high!

Easter bunny outsourcing to Amazon

March 27, 2016

The Easter bunny must be outsourcing logistics to Amazon these days. Works for us!

I got a dinosaur thermos so I can have hot lunches at school!

And I got a bike basket. It’s the perfect size for Lucy or a library book.

Nice work Mr Hopps!
