The 42 hour birthday celebration

December 30, 2015

I managed to get a 42 hour birthday by starting it in New Zealand, making a morning wish on Takapuna beach and having birthday cake in Cornwall park, then finishing my birthday in Texas where Mum and Papi gave me a My Little Pony Castle. Jet lagged and still in my travelling clothes the Castle is already involved in battle and being protected by Rafa’s soldiers.

A visit to Tahi Estate

December 29, 2015

Wow! What a beautiful property full of trees, bees, horses and beaches. We have also discovered something even better than Tahi Manuka Honey, and that’s Tahi Manuka Honey icecream! (PS. Yes, that’s Mum in a bee suit, we had to inspect the hives from a distance).

Abuela and Iggy’s Garden

December 27, 2015

Abuela and Iggy’s garden is more than just a water bomb battle ground… it’s also a food basket, soccer field and marshmallow roasting pit.

Punnet Cafe

December 23, 2015

We got given the task of procuring strawberries and Christmas mince pies for our Christmas day party so we headed out to Punnet Cafe this morning to fulfill our mission. We stopped for a while to enjoy morning tea and a run around the playground whilst Mum and Papi enjoyed their coffee in the courtyard.

Whilst Mum and Papi were away

December 22, 2015

Whilst Mum and Papi were away we were treated to a fun-packed 24 hours which included digging for dinosaur bones in the garden, a night light tour, waffles for breakfast (with syrup!) a trip to the bakery and a play in the park. It’s exhausting hanging out with Abuela and Iggy!
