Mum has spent the afternoon packing our summer clothes and swim wear into suitcases. Surely this means something good is about to happen.
Okay, NOW we’re packed and ready to go.
Mum is proud of her travel preparation efforts. Not only has she fitted everything in one suitcase (so there is a spare hand for us) but it’s 100gm below the weight limit. I might stick in another pair of pants…
See you soon New Zealand!
We bought a new fold up umbrella pram to take to New Zealand (since the ones we have are too big).
Papi has spent the day getting our car ready. It’s sparkling clean, the cargo net is in, there’s air in the tires and it has a full tank of gas.
Mum has spent the day packing sunscreen, beach towels, picnic gear and car trip distractions.
I’ve spent the day “packing my suitcase for the field trip”.
We’re ready! Vamos!
Mum and I are so excited to give Ana her surprise travel backpack. We still have to get Lucy in there yet but we did a practice run and she should fit.
Papi is going to like this backpack too because there is a bit that he can hold on to to keep her close by. But most importantly we hope the pack keeps Ana entertained for all three flights today!
My US passport has arrived in the post. The doctor has given me the all clear for international travel. The tickets are booked and paid for. Whoopee! We’re going to Argentina to visit Papi’s family.
Mum has made the grand master list of what we need to take and she already has the suitcases set up in the bonus room with the first few things packed (nappies and wipes purchased on sale).
