National Night Out

October 4, 2016

We live in a GREAT community.

Puppet show

March 16, 2016

Today we got to perform our puppet shows to our families. There were three groups. We all made our own puppets, created our own sets, wrote the scripts and performed it all ourselves. It was also lots of fun watching the other groups performing their shows. I’ve now officially added artist and actress to the things I want to be when I grow up.

1st Spring Break Camp

March 14, 2016

Spring Break is here! Not only is the weather warming up nicely, but I get to spend the week attending really cool day camps. Today I went to the Arts Fulshear day camp. First we made puppets (my puppet is a Vampire named ‘Star Dash’), and then we got into groups and started putting together a play. Our play is called ‘The Love Socks’. So far, Mrs Peach and Mr Picklehead went into a forest in search of the berry patch. But they didn’t realise the forest was VERY dangerous, and they accidentally stumbled across Star Dash (my vampire) but managed to escape only to stumble across Orange Locks (another baddie). Then there is a fairy, but I’m a bit hazy on the story from there on. We’ve got more time to work on the story tomorrow.

After school adventure with Mum

January 20, 2016

It was so exciting to go on a surprise after-school adventure with Mum today. We first visited the Sweet Tooth shop to use my spin-the-wheel ticket that came home from school with my glowing school report. I had a most successful spin, winning a chocolate ice-cream shake! Then we went to the Library to finish off the 2×2 book list – now I’ve read them all and can hand in my report tomorrow. My favourite book was ‘The Princess in Black’.

I love Mummy and me time. Especially when it involves ice-cream and books.

Now that we can ride to somewhere

Things are getting interesting now that we're all big enough to ride to somewhere!

It rained on our parade!

July 4, 2014
We got to participate in the community parade today handing out packets of Texas wildflower seeds for the Fulshear Parks Commission.

We were so excited to participate in the community Fourth of July parade today as part of the Fulshear Parks Commission team handing out packets of Texas wildflower seeds.

Our team was led by two horses.

And before the parade started we were allowed to sit on them.

And before the parade started we were allowed to have a little ride.

As it was we ended up following lots of horses so we had to watch our step!

It was so much fun walking through the crowds and everyone loved their seeds.

And everyone loved the seeds.

It was so exciting to walk through the crowds and everyone loved the seeds, just as we were near the end the skies got dark and opened up. We made it back to the car just in time!

But just as we were near the end the skies got dark, lightening bolts were flashing and thunder was shaking the ground. We made it back to the car just in time without getting soaked through.  Talk about raining on the parade!
