I liked the oaks the best, although this one is so tall he needs a stake to hold him up.

I liked the oaks the best, we got a live oak and a red oak positioned to (eventually) block where we get the most afternoon sun.

Raffy liked the bottle brush which should flower soon, with a bit more care and watering.

Pre-Father’s Day

June 14, 2014

It’s hard to get gifts delivered on Father’s Day so we ordered them in a day early.

We got him a tree for the yard. As this grows this should provide shade for the outdoor kitchen.

The guys came to install the irrigation system yesterday but sliced through our internet/tv cable so we’re going to be unplugged for the next few days.

Mum was not happy but I was home sick so it meant I got a trip to Starbucks and taught the guys there how to make a babycino so I could drink my coffee and flip through my books whilst Mum used their internet.

Mum was not happy but I was home sick (cough, cough) so it meant I got a trip to Starbucks and taught the guys there how to make a babycino so I could drink my coffee and flip through my books whilst Mum used their internet.  There’s a silver lining to every cloud.
