Yoga

I felt like a real yogi this morning in my new K-Deer yoga leggings (Mum has the same but in black and grey), and my new yoga mat and tote.

I even found the perfect spot for Lucy in my yoga tote so she can come to class too.

A gift from Mum

A yoga mat for each of us!

A yoga mat for each of us!

It’s all yoga, baby

May 10, 2012

With Mum’s water bottle and yoga mat tucked into Ana’s side of the pram, Mum and I headed to our first Mom, Dad and Baby Class at NW Yoga.

The mums did lots of shoulder and back stretches and stood up and bent over and pretended to be dogs and then planks of wood and lowered themselves down to give us a kiss and then stood back up again.  It was amusing to watch.

My best pose was shavasana.

Acroyoga

September 20, 2011

Lucy and I have perfected our new acroyoga pose: the double dog. We're both in downward dog and I'm balancing on her back!

You can tell this picture was actually taken a few days ago because I’m not wearing my new boots!  The boots have only come off (reluctantly) for bathing and sleeping.  I wasn’t kidding when I said I was going to wear them all winter!

Good manners for yoga

August 30, 2011

Mum was very proud to see my daily report from the office today.  It said: “Today I asked Ana if she would help me and she told me to “say please” ha ha!”

I’ve discovered I can get all manner of things when I say please.

Especially when I want the yoga mat.  That’s family fun!

My downward dog is better than Lucy's!
